My names Danni Perry and little over three years ago, I was desperate to move my 85-year-old mother, Marlene from a nursing home in eastern Washington to a facility closer to me in the Pacific Northwest. We found first Edmonds Bowl adult family home in Edmonds, Washington. After speaking with Feven and her husband Seare at this facility, we were very excited at the prospect of my mom being able to live there. Shortly, there after we were able to actually move her into the facility and from that day forward, I have finally felt the relief that a child needs to feel when asking someone other than family, to care for their parent. My mother is not the easiest patient in the world, but the staff at this facility has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide care, not only for her physically, but for her emotionally and mentally. I rarely announce my visits, and when I show up the entire facility is pristine, and all of the patients are clean and comfortable and well cared for. I honestly believe that my mother‘s lifespan may have been cut short had she remained in the other facility we had her in. She’s had a handful of medical needs requiring hospitalization and the staff here has been on top of recognizing the need for additional medical care incredibly fast. I cannot say enough good things about this facility, the owners, and the people they have chosen to work for them.
We are the Guardians for Gentleman that has lived at First Edmonds Bowl Adult Family Home for close to four years. Although he is nonverbal, we believe he is happy there. During that time he has been treated with the kindness, care and compassion that only the most dedicated Care Givers can provide. We know that our Ward is being cared for and respected in every way that he deserves. Being the Guardian for a person is an awesome responsibility. If not for the care he receives at First Edmonds Bowl AFH, we would not be able to meet the challenge. We and our Ward are so fortunate to our relationship with the owners and staff at First Edmonds Bowl AFH.
My mother has lived at the 1st Edmonds Bowl Adult Family Home since March , 2021. From the first day she moved in, I felt very confident that she had a safe and welcoming place to stay. The staff are very professional and friendly. The tenants are treated like family. The home is always very clean and the meals that are served look delicious! I highly recommend 1st Edmonds Bowl Adult Family Home!
We had to put our sister into the Edmonds Adult Family Home . She couldn’t even talk when she was admitted . Frankly , we didn’t even expect her to live very long. My sister was very difficult to deal with , Feven and Seare and their great staff gave her excellent care , better than she even deserved . Her health improved so much that within a years time she was able to move out of the home and live independently. I highly recommend Edmonds Adult Family Home.
